Beach Day

On Sunday, Anna, Maria, Eric, Paula and I all woke up at 5:30 and left for Virginia Beach. We spent a whole day there and most of us got fabulous tan lines(;

Orioles vs Nationals

On Saturday, Anna, Maria, Anna's boyfriend Eric and I all drove down to Baltimore and watched the Orioles vs Nationals game. It was a great game and the Orioles made a great comeback in the 6th and 7th innings. Let's go O's!

Old Town Manassas

Now, if you enter a bookstore and see a cat in the back, it's definitely an antique book store(;

Shenadoah Valley Hike

My mom and I went to the Shenadoah Valley on Thursday and hiked on the Dark Hollow Falls Trail. We saw beautiful nature, waterfalls and TWO black bear cubs!! :D

Archives & Sculpture Garden

Jenn, Uncle Mark, Aunt Lisa and our mom took a trip to DC to visit the Archives. Natalie had agreed to give them a tour. While they were there they visited the Sculpture Garden across the street from the Archives.

Washington's Mill & Distillery

After our visit to Mount Vernon we stopped at Washington's Mill and Distillery. The historians there gave us interesting information on how Washington worked his mill and distillery and how it infulenced his life so much.

Mount Vernon Again

On Monday Uncle Mark, Aunt Lisa, Jenn, our mom, and I all went to Mount Vernon for a second time. A little make-up from the day we went last year. I wasn't in all that great of a mood the last time we went, so it was good to get to experience it in a better mood this year(:

The days following Maria's graduation were extremely busy. Many family members dropped in for the parties that followed. Our other cousin, Anna, Maria's sister, made a beautiful Virginia Tech cake for the occasion.
