Everyone's heard of Guy Fierri right? You haven't?! Well, he's the chef on one of my family's favorite shows on the Food Network. Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The other day my dad thought it would be cool if we found one of the restaurants that Guy visited here in Texas. Well, we were in luck when we found Twisted Root Burger Company. It seemed like a good place to try so we set off to Roanoke....
We were greeted by these friendly stools(:
Turns out that Twisted Root had some pretty good burgers! We found out from our walking wikipedia-Dad-that Twisted Root makes everything from scratch! Hand-rolled patties, hand-cut fries, homemade ice cream, homemade pickles and homemade root beer. Their burgers and fries both have a little kick but they are quite delicious(:
They even have their sister restaurant right next door! Mom wants to try Cowboy Chow next(:
My walls are white and this is the new comforter that we bought(: I love my new room, it totally screams Michele!
Jenn's room is covered in polka dots! It's very colorful and it too has white walls. A great room to cheer up anyone.
