We also spent a day making Halloween goodies. Most of our time was spent on making peanut butter pumpkins though. We had found the version made by Reese's at Wal-Mart and had decided to give it a try. They turned out pretty tasty if you ask me.

Later in the month, our Uncle let us borrow his fancy shmancy new Nikon. Obviously we were giddy with excitement over it so naturally we had a photo shoot. Boy does that camera take nice pics!

October Madness

This year I wasn't able to partake in the festivities of October because our band had the BOA Super Regional and the UIL State Championships the weekend of Halloween. We did take a family trip to the pumpkin patch though and ended up carving some really snazzy pumpkins, oh and taking some nice pictures too(;

I'm late! I'm late late LATE! When you are a member of the Marcus Marching Band and you have absolutely NO free time, it's difficult to find ime to post. I'm sincerely sorry for not posting sooner. Well, It's time to catch up no ain't it?

Homecoming!

So, it's Friday...the homecoming game is going on as I type. Since the accident earlier this week I haven't been feeling so well. I decided that it would be better if I didn't perform at the game so I'm now at home, posting this.

On a happier note, today was pretty fun. I got my first mum from my boyfriend and it is amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better one. He liked his garter too(:

Where Have I Been!

Ohmygosh. I gotta tell yah, when marching band starts up, I have absolutely no life. So sorry about the eerily long silence. Homecoming for Marcus is this week and I've been super busy with rehearsals, mum making...making other people's mums, and dress shopping. We are supposed to have this big Homecoming parade and pep rally tomorrow but due to rainfall from the approaching Hurricane Hermine, (what kind of name is Hermine anyway??) were not so sure that's going to happen. Not that it really matters for me. On Labor Day the Marcus Band had a stadium rehearsal...well, due to gale force winds I got knocked on the head with my flag. I now have a mild concussion and will not be marching in the parade most likely. In other, happier news the Homecoming game against Arlington Lamar is this Friday and the Homecoming dance is this Saturday, which I will be attending(: Yayy!! I will be posting pictures of mums and garders on Saturday morning, so get readyy!

Nothing Interesting

So lately we haven't been doing anything interesting...Jenn and I have been hanging out with friends and such, and I've been preparing for the incoming marching season. I promise when we are up to something worth blogging about I will post it immediately.
