The days following Maria's graduation were extremely busy. Many family members dropped in for the parties that followed. Our other cousin, Anna, Maria's sister, made a beautiful Virginia Tech cake for the occasion.

Graduation!

The first week of summer my mom, Jenn and I flew to Virginia to be at our cousin, Maria's, graduation. Since Maria is my mom's god-daughter she was excited to be there.

The Day They Say I Do

On Friday, my grandma's friend's son, Martin Cobos got married to his long time girlfriend, Andrea. On Friday evening we drove down to the Stonebridge Ranch Country Club to be at the ceremony. Unfortunately, Jenn couldn't make it, she had a school trip to Austin that day.

The Big 1-3

It's May 13th! It's Jenn's Golden Year! 13 on the 13th(: So as most of you know, Jenn's birthday was today! She was very excited. She got a brand new iTouch as a special surprise and a book from me (of course).

Dad just happened to have an MRI today so we decided to eat at an Italian restaurant called I Fratelli. It was delicious, and the desserts were even better!

Art Festival!

Yesterday we went to the CityArts Festival in Fair Park. We saw some...interesting statues and amazing art(:

Austin and I found these incredible masks. They were so cool!

We also saw this funky fountain made out of instruments. You can imagine Austin's excitement when he saw that a trombone-his instrument back at Marcus-was included.

Colorguard Banquet

Last Sunday I had a banquet for guard. The whole family attended and I also brought my boyfriend, Austin along. We all got dressed up for the occasion and had a pretty good time(:

TAKS Week

This week is TAKS for both Jenn and I. Lucky for me, I only have one test as a Freshman so for most of the week I get to sleep in and arrive at school at 11:30! :D Unfortunately, Jenn still has to be at school at 8:45 as usual. She has her reading and math tests this week as well.
